1. Qualatex Balloon Colors
Please refer to the color chart and color assortment chart for latex balloons, and for Microfoil balloons.
Latex Color Assortments - When choosing an assortment, or creating your own assortment, please show the balloon color number(s) on the order. Assortments of any combination of colors are available, and unless otherwise specified, colors are assorted in the bag. Pricing will be based on categories of colors selected and invoiced accordingly. For orders of 1,000 or more, choose a Qualatex Color Assortment listed on page ####, or no more than four single balloon colors per 1,000 balloons. For separate packaging of individual colors when each color is less than 1,000 balloons, contact Customer Service for additional charge. Please specify any special instructions upon ordering.

Microfoil Color Assortments - When creating your own assortment, please show the individual balloon color numbers on the order. For screed-print orders of 50-249 balloons, up to four colors may be used; for orders of 250 or more balloons, up to eight colors may be used.

2. Ink Colors
When choosing balloon and ink color combinations, consider the effect of the balloon color when combined with the ink color, particularly when printing on an assortment of balloon colors. A change of ink may be required for desired result. Colors can be custom blended. Because the Pantone Matching System is not used, exact Pantone (PMS) color matches cannot be guaranteed. PMS color numbers should be used for point of reference only. Custom ink blends are not inventoried.

Latex - Black, White, Red, Yellow, Royal Blue, Green, Brown, Orange, Pink, Purple, Burgandy, Gold, and Silver. Black ink is recommended on the Rainbow Color Assortment (L05)
Change of Ink Color (under 10,000 balloons) (#30102): $10.00 per color for each change.
Custom Ink Blend (#30103): $20.00 per color, per run.

Microfoil Screen Print - Black, White, Silver, Gold, Yellow (PMS#109), Orange (PMS#186), Pantone Rubine Ted Pantone Rodamine Red, Fire Red (PMS#341), Purple (PMS#2603), Green (PMS#341), Pantone Reflex Blue, and Blue (PMS#300).

Change of Ink Color (#30141): $18.00 per dolor for each change.
Custom Ink Blend (#10030): $24.00 per color, per run

Microfoil Flexgraphic Print - A large inventory of standard flexographic inks is offered at no additional charge.
Change of Ink Color (#26164):$80.00 per color for each change.
Custom Ink Blend (#10086): $40.00 per color, per run.

3. Printing
Paper Proofs - Latex (#31858) $4.00 ; Microfoil (# 31859) $4.00 each imprint if requested.
Print Direction - Each balloon is printed to be read with the neck down. Clearly specify if print is to be positioned otherwise.
Second-Side IMPRESSII Print - Latex Balloons - (One color only): 1,000-4,999, $40.00/M; 5,000 or more, $20.00/M.

 Second-Side IMPRESS V Multi-Color Print - Latex Balloons - Must contain same number of colors as (or fewer colors than) firs-side imprint. When first side is a Process Print, up to five colors or Process Print is available for second side. For 2,500-4,999 add $40.00/M; 5,000 or more add $20.00/M.

Avalilable on 9" and 11" Round Qualatex latex balloons, but not available on heart-shaped latex, or AdRite balloons. Click Here for art requirements.

4. Cut/Screen Charges
  Latex Cut Charge (#30099) - $25.00(D) per color, per side. Process Print requires five cut changes.
  Microfoil Screen Charges - 18" and 20" balloons (#25717): $40.00(D) per color; 36" balloons (#25718): $54.00(D) - one color only.
  Giant Latex Cut Charge (#35388) - $54.00(D) - one color only.
  Photo Prints - Latex Cut Charge (#30099): $25.00(D). Microfoil Screen Charge (#25717): $40.00(D).
  AdWrap Cut Charge (#25387) - $40.00(D) one color only.

Straight-Line Copy for IMPRESS II® Print Latex Balloons and Microfoil Screen Print Balloons
No charge to set strailghjt-line copy if it meets the following requirements: straight-line copy is defined as 1) five lines or less; 2)no more than two different typestyles; and 3) no more than two sizes of type. All camera-ready, straight-line copy supplied will require a cut charge.
  Cuts and Screens are kept on file for the remainder of the current year plus two more years
A charge will apply if straight-line copy is changed or added to a logo on file. A charge will not apply for Augustine Blue Book logos on file, or if camera-ready artwork is supplied for Augustine logos. Due to the proprietary nature of processes used, all cut, screen, or plate charges are service charges only and do not transfer title to the customer.

5. Flexographic Plate Charges
  Microfoil Plates(#30119) - Approximately $200.0(F) per color, per side for flexographic printing on 18" and 20"Microfoil balloons. Complex artwork may require additional charges.
Flexographic plates will be stored for future use for up to 18 months only.
  Accetate Proof - (for flexographic printed orders only) (#21492); $34.00(F) per color plus cost of separations after firm order has been placed. If no firm order, contact Customer Service for charges

6. Production
  Production time - Please clearly indicate delivery date required on your order. Allow up to two additional working days for preparation of art. Additional time will be required for Kinderprint® Kits, insertion of NoTie Balloon Seals or ProLite® Balloon Valves in latex balloons, assembly, and/or fulfillment of Balloon-in-a-Box programs, and any special packaging. The amount of time will depend on the size of the order.

   Latex Balloons - Normal production time is 5-7 working days after receipt of order and approved artwork, depending on product ordered. For IMPRESS V production time, contact Customer Service.
    Microfoil Balloons - After receipt of approved artwork, allow 5-7 working days for screen print; allow approximately 12-18 working days for flexographic print. If acetate proof is required, please allow five additional working days for customer receipt and return of proof.
  Rush Orders - Rush service will be extended whenever possible at no additional charge. There will, however, be an extra charge if special handling is required. Orders needed in less than normal production time will be considered based on customer requirements and our ability to meet them.
 Rush orders will be accepted by phone, fax, or overnight mail. Please be specific in your instruction. Spell out all names and directions form any punctuation or capitalization.

5-Day Quick Ship - The 5-Day Quik Ship program is noted beside IMPRESS II price grid, and Small Quantity Orders price grid.   Productin time in five working days or less.   Production begins after approval of credit, artwork and complete order.   Production time does not include the day order is received.   Limited to catalog quantities.

7. Pricing/Credit Claims
  Prices - Prices, terms, and items are subject to change without notice. Postage is based on shipping rates in effect October 1999. If world events force increases. we reserve the right to change our rates without notice. This catalog is not an offer to sell, and any order may be declined.
  Credit Claims - Claims covering defective merchandise and shipping errors mmust be submitted in writing and accompanied by samples (as indicated below) within 30 days after receipt of merchandise. Returned merchandise must have prior authorization number displayed clearly on return carton. Latex - one unopened polybag; Microfoil - 50 balloons. For other claims not specified here, contact Customer Service.

8. Other
  Minimum Order - See price grids for requirements. All minimums are per each imprint/design.
  Order changes - Changes to orders in production will result in additional charges.
  Overruns/Underruns - All latex balloon orders and Kinderprint Kits are subject to 5%; all Microfoil orders are subject to 10% and will be invoiced accordingly.
  Plain latex Balloons - See Color Chart.
  Storage - All latex and Microfoil balloons should be kept in a a cool, dry place, protected from extreme temperatures. Latex balloons should be stored in plastic bags and also protected from light.
